How it works

As the name implies the T Clewring comprises a T-Shaped bar set inside a cast or machined ring, made from either high grade aluminium for the smaller boats, 17/4 stainless or titanium for the larger boats.
The T Clewring replaces the standard clew ring in the genoa. Attaching sheets is simply a matter of slipping a spectra loop through the eye-splices on the sheets and then hooking them over the T-bar.
Once the connection is made, the T Clewring can be enclosed in a wrap-around flap, with Velcro, to help protect the mast or shrouds. Velcro flap not necessary on non overlapping jibs.
