How it works

As the name implies, the T Clewring features a T-shaped bar set inside

a cast or machined ring.

It is made from high-grade aluminium for smaller boats, or 17/4 stainless steel and titanium for larger boats.

The T-Clewring replaces the standard clew ring on a genoa.

To attach sheets, simply pass a spectra loop through

the eye-splices on the sheets and hook them over the T-bar.

When attaching the sheets, make sure the loop goes on opposite sides of the T.
(Placing both loops on the same side will cause the T to bend and break.)

Once connected, the T-Clewring can be enclosed in a

wrap-around Velcro flap to protect the mast and shrouds.

This flap is not required for non-overlapping jibs.
